Time flies. So, I chase and delay some of its instants to make you look deeper. Closer.Life is a fast-moving loop. Easy to miss the finest of moments, as it swiftly coils past a scenery, so I keep repeating it to catch that very instant in-between. Expressing the fragile interconnection of the sublime landscape and life is what I am after.
I try to seize the essence of these intricate affinities, not in a physical and material form, but rather in their transitory self, captured through photography, video or installations. My art of conventional aesthetics is about interconnecting the ends with the beginnings of the moments of life; the journey from specific to general and vice versa and the alternation between abstraction and repetition that often takes landscape as the point of departure.
